My Story
Hi, I’m Julia Stambler, and I’m so excited to share my journey with you. Skinsane wasn’t born in a lab or from some business plan—it was born from my personal struggle and deep desire to heal myself.
In my 20s, I was living my dream as a model, but behind the glamour, my skin was constantly exposed to harsh chemicals and products I never questioned. At 27, my world shifted. My skin suddenly erupted into breakouts, and I was devastated. For over a year and a half, I battled acne that wouldn’t go away, no matter what I tried. I felt hopeless. I tried everything—from strict diets to natural remedies—drank wheatgrass twice a day, going vegan, even raw food diets. Nothing worked. I felt like I was failing my skin, my confidence plummeted, and I didn’t feel like myself.
One day, it hit me: maybe it wasn’t just about what I was putting in my body, but what I was putting on my skin. This realization sparked a fire in me. I didn’t want to keep putting chemicals on my face that were making things worse. I wanted to heal, truly heal. At 28, I decided to take control of my journey. I enrolled in Esthetician school, not with the goal of starting a business, but simply to understand how to heal my own skin. I became obsessed with learning about ingredients and finding natural solutions.
I remember waking up every morning at 5 AM, researching, experimenting, and creating my own formulations. I knew there had to be a better way—something gentler, something healing. At 30, after countless hours of research and testing, I created my first product. That’s when Skinsane was born, and I knew I had found my purpose: to share this with others who, like me, just want to feel comfortable in their own skin again.
